Product description: Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva and Devaki incarnated as the ninth avatar of Lord Vishnu to destroy evil and preach Dharma. Lord Krishna also known as kesava, Mukunda, Muralidhara is worshipped as one of the supreme deities in Hinduism for his compassion and love he shows towards his devotees. The name Krishna is derived from the sanskrit name "Krsna" meaning black or dark. The brass statue portrays Lord Krishna standing on an inverted lotus which is placed on a square pedestal with the center of the pedestal projected outwards and curved like an arch. The pedestal is engraved with floral leafy designs, lotus petals, and has the Kirtimukha face in the center of the curved pedestal. The pedestal has an amazing floral engraved peacock arch attached. The intricate details of the peacock arch is enthralling and gives a splendid appearance to the statue. Lord Krishna stands on this beautiful peacock arch pedestal in a graceful posture with one of his legs crossed, and playing his flute. A tatoo like floral design is present at the bottom of his left feet. Krishna is adorned with artistically detailed clothing with hanging vastrams around his waist, beautiful jewelries, and an ornamented crown. The face of Krishna has a pleasant smiling expression, and the statue is indeed a resplendent statue of Krishna with details abound. The Krishna and the peacock arch are removable from the base, and the statue would be shipped as three separate pieces.
