Product description: Saraswati is a Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom, and learning. In Nepal, Saraswati is highly revered and worshipped as the patron goddess of education, knowledge, and creativity, In Nepal, and depicted seated on a lotus flower playing the Veena, a musical instrument.  The worship of Saraswati is an important tradition in Nepal, especially during the Saraswati Puja, which is usually celebrated in the month of Magh (January-February) according to the Nepali calendar. The statue of Saraswati is seated on a lotus with one of her legs outstretched, and her front hands holds the Veena. Her rear hands holds a rosary, and a book, and a cute little swan is seated on the lotus. She is wearing a crown, some jewelries, and the arch behind the Goddess is very detailed, embedded with semi precious stones, and is a removable piece from the base.
