Product description: Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva and Devaki incarnated as the ninth avatar of Lord Vishnu to destroy evil and preach Dharma. Lord Krishna is worshipped as one of the supreme deities in Hinduism for his compassion and love he shows towards his devotees.Lord Vishnu incarnated himself as Lord Krishna in the Dwapara Yuga for two important events. In the first, Lord Krishna defeated his evil maternal uncle, Kamsa. Secondly, He was the mentor of the Pandavas during the battle of Kurukshetra.

The bronze statue depicts Krishna standing on an inverted lotus in an araimandi posture (Half sitting posture), and playing his flute. Mostly Krishna is seen playing his flute either in a sitting position, or with one of his legs crossed. But this statue of Krishna makes it unique from the other statues with respect to his overall body posture from head to toe. The elaborate arch behind Krishna is hand crafted with lots of intricate floral designs, and the dancing Gopis present on each side of the arch are attached to the arch, and the arch is removable from the base. The Gopis shows their respect and love towards Krishna in a classical dance form. Krishna is adorned with artistically detailed clothing, beautiful jewelries around his neck and shoulders, a waist belt with Kirtimukha face, and his hair bun is decorated with some ornaments, and peacock feather. The face of Krishna has a peaceful expression, and the statue is indeed beautiful with amazing details and attention given throughout the statue. The antique bronze Krishna  is one of a kind statue made using the lost-wax method; an expert craftsmanship by our South Indian bronze artisan.
