Product description: Lord Krishna, son of Vasudeva and Devaki, incarnated as the ninth avatar of Lord Vishnu to destroy evil and preach Dharma. Lord Vishnu incarnated himself as Lord Krishna in the Dwapara Yuga for two important events. In the first, Lord Krishna defeated his evil maternal uncle, Kamsa. Secondly, He was the mentor of the Pandavas during the battle of Kurukshetra. He is the god of compassion and love, and worshipped by his devotees as the supreme god.
The bronze statue depicts Krishna standing on an inverted lotus which is placed on an octagonal shaped pedestal with one of his legs crossed, and playing his flute. Krishna is adorned with artistically detailed clothing, beautiful jewelries from head to toe, armlets with Kirtimukha face, and his crown is richly decorated with intricate designs, and has three Kirtimukha faces. The face of Krishna has a calm, smiling expression, and the hanging vastrams around his waist and on his shoulders has stunning details that enhances the beauty of the statue.
