Product description: Lord Vishnu, one of the supreme deities in Hinduism is the preserver and protector of the universe. He is one of the divine Trimurti along with Lord Brahma the creator, and Lord Shiva the destroyer. Lord Vishnu incarnated in different forms (Dasavatar - Ten forms) to preserve the universe and restore peace and dharma. The brass statue portrays Lord Vishnu sitting majestically on the coiled body of the five headed serpent called Shesha, with his right leg resting on a lotus. He holds the discus and conch in his rear hands, while his front right hand is in Abhaya mudra, and left hand holds a mace (gada). The five headed serpent provides a protective canopy over Vishnu’s head, and Vishnu with his serpent emphasizes his cosmic role and eternal nature. Meticulously crafted with fine details, the brass statue is certainly a divine representation of Lord Vishnu with Shesha; a common theme in Hindu art and sculptures.
