Product description: In Hindu mythology, Garuda is a divine eagle, and is considered the king of all birds. Garuda is the vahana of the supreme God Vishnu. The bronze statue depicts Garuda in Cambodian style as a humanoid bird standing on a small pedestal with one feet forward, his wings wide spread, hands in Abhaya mudra, and has a robust, majestic appearance. The face of Garuda is admirable with big eyes, and a short curvy beak. He is wearing long earrings, and an ornamented crown. His lower part of the body has scaly feathers, and has an amazing long tail with stunning details. The statue has a combination of Malachite stone patina and golden yellow that enhances the aesthetic details of the statue. The bronze Garuda is a rare find, a beautiful statue that highlights the fine workmanship by our artisans of Cambodia.
