Product description: Buddha born as Siddhartha, is a philosopher and a teacher who follows “Dharma” and whose teachings led to the start of Buddhism. The statue is made in white brass and depicts Buddha seated in a cross-legged position (Padmasana yoga pose or full Lotus position) with his right hand touching the earth ( Bhumisparsha mudra). His left hand holds the Alms bowl and has an image of a Buddhist monk engraved on his robe in meditating pose. The face of Buddha indeed has a peaceful expression. The coral and turquoise inlay work on white brass is beautifully made, making it one of our most pleasing Buddha statues from our collections.
