Product description: Buddha born as Siddhartha in a ruling family in Nepal, decided to leave the life of comfort to seek spiritual awareness. Siddhartha means "one who achieves his goal", he is also known as Gauthama, Shakyamuni hence called as "the sage of the Shakyas". Siddhartha attained enlightenment under a bodhi tree witnessing the earth and became the Buddha. The statue depicts the Buddha seated in a cross-legged position (Padmasana yoga pose or full Lotus position), with his right hand touching the Earth ( Bhumisparsha mudra), and left hand resting on his lap with the Alms bowl. The small bump on his head is called Ushnisha which symbolizes wisdom,  and the forehead has an auspicious spiral mark called Urna which is referred to as the third eye. The robe of the Buddha is finished with coral and turquoise inlay work, and his face has a peaceful expression; certainly an enticing statue of the Buddha in Earth touching gesture.
