Product description: Adhyantha Prabhu, a composite deity of Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman. Adhi means beginning, and Antha means end. Ganesh, the son of Shiva and Parvathi is worshipped as the God of beginnings, and Sri Hanuman, an avatar of Rudra is said to be chiranjeevi ( immortal). There is a saying which states, “Begin the prayers with Ganesha and end the prayers with Hanuman”. Ganesh and Hanuman have common characteristics like blessing us with wisdom and strength, and removing the ill effects of the planet Saturn. The amalgamation of the two Gods - Ganesh and Hanuman is so powerful as they are the only two Gods who are not affected by the adverse effects of the Navagrahas. Devotees seek the blessings of Adhiyantha Prabhu to remove, and lessen the ill effects of the Navagrahas (Nine planets). The shrine of Adhyantha Prabhu is located in the Madhya Kailash Temple in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with the main deity of the temple being Venkata Ananda Vinayakar.

The wood panel portrays Adhyantha Prabhu standing on a lotus pedestal, with visible distinguishing characters between Ganesh and Hanuman. Lord Ganesh is on the left, and Lord Hanuman on the right. The face of Ganesh is half seen, and his rear right hand holds the goad(Ankusha), and his front right hand holds his own broken tusk. Ganesh is seen wearing some jewelries, a crown flower garland (Erukum poo), a scutch grass (Arugampul) garland, and a lotus garland. Lord Hanuman is seen wearing a Tulasi (Holy basil) garland, with his tail raised above his shoulder, and his right hand is holding a mace (Gada) in anjali mudra. The face of Hanuman, and his standing gesture clearly portrays his robust features as a warrior, and on the other hand the features of Ganesh shows his benevolence nature. The forehead symbols of each God is clearly indicated, and merged. Keen attention to details have been given throughout the panel, and the wood panel of Adhyantha Prabhu perfectly illustrates a fine workmanship by our team of artist. Wall hanging hardware is attached to the panel.
